An Ordinance Of The City Of Galveston, Texas, Amending Chapter 34 Traffic” Article Iii- “Vehicle Operation’ Of The “The Code Of The City Of Galveston, 1982, As Amended” By Adding Section 34-77 To Provide Regulations For The Safe Passage By Motorists Of “Vulnerable Road Users”, Providing For A Definition Of The Term Vulnerable Road Users”, Requiring Safe Passage Of Vulnerable Road Users By Defining A Minimum Distance Motorists Must Maintain While Passing Vulnerable Road Users; Prohibiting The Throwing Of Any Object At A Vulnerable Road User Or The Users Equipment Or Other Intimidating Maneuvers; Amending Chapter 9 To Require Bicycles To Have A Front Facing White Light And A Rear Facing Red Light; Providing For Penalties; Making Various Findings And Provisions Related To The Subject; And Providing For An Effective Date.
